The Prince2 Foundation certification helps a person get an insight to understanding the method of working effectively on projects executed under the Prince2 framework. Through this certification, one will learn the methodology used in Project Management to improve Project management skills.

It also helps in gaining an effective output on projects. PRINCE2 is a globally recognized certification for project managers and upcoming Project managers. This certification is of basic level in this category PRINCE2. The average salary for Prince2 certified employees is around $85,800.

This Level certification introduces the PRINCE2 methods and aims to confirm that one knows and understands the PRINCE2 methods well enough to be able to work effectively as a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2. The certification is aimed at current and aspiring project managers or professionals.

PRINCE2 Foundation certification provides working capabilities to project designer including Project Board members (e.g. Senior Responsible Owners), Team Managers (e.g. Product Delivery Managers), Project Assurance (e.g. Business Change Analysts), Project Support (e.g. Project and Programme Office personnel), and operational line managers or staff.

Exam details

• The exam consists of 60 multiple choice questions and is closed book.
• To pass the PRINCE2 Foundation examination 33 marks or more i.e. at least 55% is required.
• Duration of exam in 60 minutes
