The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals exam is an introductory level exam that provides certain services to help certification holders grasp the core knowledge of cloud services. It throws light on how exactly Microsoft Azure symbolizes the concepts related to cloud services. This exam acts as a precursor for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft cloud services exam. However, it must not be confused as a prerequisite for any other Azure-based certifications. The candidates for this exam need not be from a technical-background as this exam is intended towards candidates from a non-technical background, mainly engaged in anything remotely related to cloud-based solutions. A limited IT-knowledge can always turn out to be fruitful for the candidates, as this exam aims at polishing the foundational-level knowledge around cloud concepts.
