Exam details
- Number of Questions: Maximum of 90 questions
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (single and multiple response), drag and drops and performance-based
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Passing score: 720 (on a scale of 100-900)
The credentials can be renewed by earning 50 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or by taking CertMaster CE Network+ Training Course. Another route for renewal can be to take a higher-level CompTIA certification to update the skills.
Recommended Experience: CompTIA A+ Certification and At least 9 to 12 months of networking experience
An applicant is required to create a Pearson VUE testing account after which they will be allotted a test center or take the exam online. Register for the exam here.
Since this exam covers all that there is to know about networking, it is considered to be a high-level exam despite the limited number of questions. Therefore, certified professionals recommend about 3 months of study for a beginner.
